Well I had good intentions on feeding the missionaries a great sit down dinner, but then reality struck. I didn't have enough forks, plates, or ....food. I completely forgot to get something out, and I didn't realize it until half way through the day. After work I ran home to try and thaw out some chicken to make some quick tamales. It was already 5:00 they were going to be arriving at 6, there was no way I could thaw, cook and serve in 1 hour. I felt soo bad because we had to cancel once before, so I called and told them to go to there next meeting and I would have Domino's deliver so they could eat when they got home; They were OK with it. Shoow!
Our Primary Program went really well, it was very moving! We had people in the audience crying, it was beautiful. I knew it would go well. Our ward has a good bunch of kids, very strong little spirits. I am very proud of them. We had fun.
Kenny called the Car Dr. who told him it is still not done and wont be for awhile. I would love to take this guys car for about 2 months and tell him every weekend that he can expect it. Gosh!! Kenny said the part wasn't fixed so he had to put it back in the shop, and it would take as long as it takes to put it back together, once it gets out, AGAIN! Good thing we like asking Kenny's mom if we can use her car. : /
Our jobs are going good, Kenny is staying busy working accounts. He still loves it there, really enjoying himself. I am soo thankful for this job. He so desperately needed something he was both good at and would enjoy. We needed something that would pay well and offer great benefits, for both of us. This place is all that and much more. I can't wait to go back to school, Kenny either. I don't think either of us know what we're going back for though.
My job is still booboo but the Dr is out of town untill Nov. 16 so we'll have some time to chillax. I will beable to go home at 2 or 3 instead of 5 or 6. There is still lots of work to be done even though we wont have a schedule, we will just have time to do it now. Plus there is a lot to be done with this study I got thrown into. Hopefully there wont be too many walk ins.
I know I keep saying this but I think I am going to get another job. I stay because I like the patients and the Dr. I would feel bad leaving him with out an M.A. but it wouldn't be terrible if I put in my 2 weeks 1st. It would force him to look for someone. There are just too many things that have happened with my paychecks, I can't keep risking not getting paid correctly or not at all. They told me I wasn't going to get a raise because I was in a probationary period, that they neglected to tell me about, and since I asked for it because I was going to be the head M.A. they told me I don't get raises just because of position change. I was floored, are you kidding me, that's a freakin promotion. They don't want to look at it that way because Lori quit leaving them no choice. IDK and really IDC (I don't care), not anymore. Maybe I should put in my 2 weeks this week while I'll have it easy. We'll see, I have to find a replacement first.
I can not believe another year is passing, they are seemingly doing so faster and faster. Everything is coming up too, Christmas, James' Birthday, our Anniversary; Thanksgiving too but that one will be spent up here. I am soo excited to see you all again, how fun will Christmas be this year!! All of us together with our spouses and baby. I am soo anxious.
So Halloween has past, how was it for ya'll? Kenny and I literally did nothing, not even pass out candy. We only had one little goblin show up anyway. I hope yours was more eventful than ours.

I definately think you should give your two weeks now. You have been putting up with not getting paid, getting paid but being told not to cash it, and having the wrong amounts on your check for far TOO LONG! There is no reason for you to be there; you can't afford to work for free.. That is called volunteering! I know you love your patients and you like the doctor. You will get to love the patients anywhere else you go as well. And anyone who doesn't want to pay you what you deserve; or can't afford to pay you on pay day doesn't deserve you. You can do better! I'm glad you are still liking the main part of your job though!
Halloween was boring. Devin worked all day and I helped him after going to the senior center to show Larry (Quinn's FIL, father in law, the kiddos). Other then that we had Cafe Rio and went to bed. Very eventful! lol
I can't wait to see you guys for Christmas either! That will be so much fun! When is your lease up again? lol
Amber,
Thanks for keeping us updated. Hey, pizza sounds good, I'll bet the missionaries enjoyed it, it's just good of you to do it. Sounds like your Primary Program was great, it's always my fav meeting of the year. But we had to sing at ours- eek. It was fine.
I don't blame you for wanting to quit, you're very loyal but you deserve better.
It will be great to see you guys at Christmas.
I think that you should put in your two weeks FOR SURE!!!! you cant sit around there thinking, "I wonder if I will be given a paycheck this week". Not only that but no matter what the reason you got promoted they still have to pay you what that positons salary is. Who cares if they "had no choice" they did have a choice, they could have paid there employees and than they never would of "had too" promote you. If they are going to treat you that way I would leave just for that. Go somewhere that they will respect your work and reward you for the job well done!! you dont deserve to be treated like that. Even though you like your DR and patients, you will like them where ever you go...trust me.
by the way there are really great Dr offices in UT, in case you didnt know. ;)
Well, i am going to blog about halloween on my blog so go take a look.
love Ya
