Easter Fun

I learned a new family tradition!! How to make Kabasa and Kapusta, SOOO Yummy!!! Hellen is polish, and has always had this dinner for Easter, since she couldn't make it this year Linda and I did. We bought 12 pounds of pork for the Kabasa!!! We picked all the hard fat off for the Kapusta, cut up and seasoned the meat, put it in a meat grinder and made Kabasa (sausages),with the pig intestines, the real deal!! That was nasty and stunk so bad!! The Kapusta is sauerkrout, lima beans and the fried fat from the pork. That was sooo good!! So Easter dinner was all hand made Kabasa, kapusta and mashed potatoes, and ham, butthat was not homemade, lol.

The kids did thier annual Egg Drop, were they get a raw egg, put it in something, they think, will be coushined enough to drop it from the roof w/o the egg braking. Last year Kenny won by putting it in a shoe!!! I don't know who won this year though?. It is really fun! We didn't have an egg hunt this year, but of course they colored the eggs. So overall the day was pretty good. What did ya'll do? Was it fun? This was James's first one huh, did you dress him up as a bunny, that would have been too cute!! Kathy tell me how New York was, I want to go there soo bad!! Soo jealous.. j/k.

Well I don't really have much else to say, not much has changed or happened. How about ya'll?

Hey Em and Les, I need your blog address so I can make it a link on my blog, I will check them more that way. Thanks for always commenting on mine!! How is everyone? hopefully all is well?!

Talk to you later, love ya'll. E-mail me!!

Can you believe March is already over?! BER

Wow! That sounds like a fun experience! I have never had Kabasa but I have seen it made on t.v. It always looks fun!
I have done the egg drop at school before; that would be fun to do as an Easter tradition.
Devin and I went up to Salt Lake; I'll update my blog today so you can read about it there (I don't want to write twice.. sorry) hehe.
It sounds like you guys had a lot of fun! Did you and Kenny do anything by yourselves?

Sounds like you had a good easter. I have never heard about an egg drop, it sounds like fun. It would be a really long fall if we went to the top of our roof here at mom and dads houe. I would wrap it in my blamket and then drop it. That would really grose if it broke though. lol.
I didn't dress James up completely like a bunny but i did get him ears, look on my blog. he is so cute!

Love you!
